UNDERSTANDING THE TRUE MEANING OF FAVOUR

Favour is a spiritual game-changer that makes a huge difference in every life. It was favour that made David to be preferred to his seven brothers and to be anointed in their midst. The same favour brought David from the bush to the palace. It was favour that moved Joseph from the prison to the throne. In fact, favour accompanied Joseph in every phase of his life's journey and ensured that he excelled. Favour also operated supernaturally in the life of Daniel. Though he and the other Israelites were captives in Babylon, he had favour with the leaders of the land. Daniel 1:9 affirms that God brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs. He also had so much favour with the leaders of the land that he was elevated to prestigious positions in the Babylonian kingdom. In spite of the opposition the enemy raised against him, Daniel eventually became the prime minister of Babylon. I pray that favour will turn everything the enemy throws at you to testimonies, in the name of Jesus.

Favour can break through any barrier set before you. When you are favoured by God, He will positively influence people who are unfavorably disposed to you and they will treat you with kindness and honour. The Egyptians had been oppressive to the Israelites for over 400 years. However, the day God gave the children of Israel favour in their sight marked the beginning of the dramatic deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt. The Egyptians willingly and freely gave the Israelites all they required and they spoiled the Egyptians (Exodus 12:36). Also, it was favour that made Esther a queen in a foreign land.

Beloved, why did good things happen to Joseph, David, Daniel and Esther? It was because they had God's favour. I encourage you to believe God for this supernatural game-changer. You are the next in line for divine favour, in Jesus' name.
