OBEYING THE WORD OF THE PROPHET OF GOD.
Read and be bless in Jesus name. AMEN.
Understanding The True Meaning Of Prayer
Prayer is the act of asking God for specific things. It is a two-way action of asking and receiving. In 2 Kings 4, we read the story of a wife of one of the sons of the prophet whose husband was late. She came to Elisha to seek help concerning the creditor that wanted to take her two sons as bondmen because they couldn't pay the debt her husband owed before his death. Elisha asked her what she had in her house and she said a pot of oil. He prayed for her and told her to borrow vessels, not a few but plenty from neighbours. All the vessels she got were filled to the brim until there was no more vessel. Again in the book of 1 Samuel, we read about a woman called Hannah who was loved so dearly by her husband but she had no child. Hannah was childless and her husband's other wife Peninnah made mockery of her. She remembered the name of the Lord and called upon Him and her prayer was answered by God.
Hannah's prayer was well targeted. It went straight to the heart of God and there was a breakthrough. Are you looking for the fruit of the womb? Are you in any dire situation and need divine intervention? Have you prayed and it seems that there is no way? I want you to know that the God of Elisha is still at work, He will answer you speedily, in the name of Jesus. The woman that inherited debt from her late husband became a millionaire. She met the prophet of God and there was open heaven.
There are prayers and there are prayers. When you look for God where you can find Him, the testimony of open door will appear. Your testimony too shall appear, in Jesus' name. You shall not pray amiss, in Jesus' name.
At this juncture, you may ask, "What should I do for my prayers to open doors?" Here are some important keys: First, you have to make Jesus your priority. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Surrender your life to Him. Second, become a word addict and a prayer warrior. Prayer is the master key. Jesus said men ought always to pray and not to faint. He started with prayer and ended with prayer. Lastly, faithful payment of tithe and offering will open the windows of heaven to you.
As you do these, all nations shall call you blessed, in Jesus' name.
